Sweet Sketch Wednesday and The Stamping Boutique!

I figured alot of my readers had been watching the news about the Susan Cox Powell Family. My  daughter, Amber, is one of Susan Cox Powell's good friends.  Most all the pictures you have seen in the news media were taken by my daughter several months before the disappearance of Susan Cox Powell. On Sunday after the devastating news my daughter, Amber, put this black and white collage together in tears. My daughter's heart is broken by this horrible act. I would like to pay tribute to my daughter, Amber, and to the Susan Cox Powell Family and hope that we as bloggers can keep these families in our prayers. If you have Facebook and time line you may become a follower of  Hardman Photography and use this on your time line. Any other use is not permitted.

Love and prayers from Arlana and all of us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday

Can you believe that it is almost Valentine's Day?
This is Patti posting for you today and I wanted to give each of you that visits and participates with us each week a beautiful bouquet of roses and a thank you for doing so! We would be nothing without you and our wonderful sponsors.

This week's sponsor is the fabulous Tracy and The Stamping Boutique!

Tracey Malnofski's resume reads like a who's who of the Stamping Industry. Besides being the owner and a designer for The Stamping Boutique, she's also a stamp artist for Unity Stamp Company and has also worked for InStyle Stamps, Squigglefly, and The Digi Shack. She's a professional artist and an active member of the Artist' Guild in her community.Tracey has quite a busy household with a husband, 3 teenagers, 5 mini-dachshunds and an Appaloosa mare. It's noisy, but she loves them all. Her "Boutique" has it all - fairytale, whimsy, sentimental . . . and Candy!

Here's what Tracey says about her Stamping Boutique.

"The Stamping Boutique" is dedicated to quality products and original artwork. We not only provide wonderful digital images in our store, but also several lines of red rubber images. Our designers are chosen for their character and personality, as well as, their beautiful designs. We work hard to give you our very best. Now, what you have been waiting for, the inspiration from our talented design team....

Please click on each of our names to be taken to our blogs, if you have time we would love to hear your comments on our cards.

Now, the rules, not always fun to read.... but necessary:

1.      Create a card using the sketch of the week. Remember to follow it without changing the orientation or flipping it.   A flower can be any embellishment or a sentiment. Small dots can be brads, jewels, pearls, flowers or other embellishments. Remember to follow the main layout and shape of the sketch. For example: If the sketch is an oval, it needs to be an oval. A vertical rectangle needs to be a vertical rectangle. However, if the layer behind a circle is a zigzag, it can be a scallop, another circle or whatever you want it to be.

2.     Use an image from this week’s sponsor (The Stamping Boutique).  Feel free to use one of their freebies, if available.  We appreciate our sponsor’s generosity in offering you a prize for your creativity!

3.     Post this week’s sketch along with your card on your blog with a link back to Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

4.     If posting to an online gallery, please use Sweet Sketch Wednesday #140-47.

5.     Click into Inlinkz to add your card to this week’s sketch challenge.

6.     Leave a comment for us on this blog.  You must do this to be considered for the Grand Prize.

So grab Arlana's sketch #140-47 and an image from

The Stamping Boutique and begin your creation!

We are looking forward to seeing your creations this week.
